Dr. M. A. Obomeghie attended Ekhei Primary School Auchi.  He proceeded to Our Lady of Fatima College, Auchi where he obtained his SSCE.  To further his education he proceeded straight to the University of Benin where he obtained both the First degree and Masters Degree in Economics and Statistics.  He further obtained his first Doctorate degree (Ph.D) in Economic Statistics in 2015 from the International University, Bamenda (IUB).  As a result of his undying quest for academics, he proceeded to Edo State University Uzairue where he bagged another Doctorate degree (Ph.D) in Applied Econometrics, setting the record of the first Ph.D graduand from Edo State University, Uzairue.

Dr. M. A. Obomeghie started work as a teacher in Edo State Post-Primary Education Board and he was seconded to Ikpomaza Grammar School Okpella where he taught Mathematics and Economics.  He later joined the services of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi in 2006.

My main interest is in the field of data management as it impacts to business growth especially with respect to women and youths in developing countries.  As well as, how the use of ICT has become the main driver of productivity in all aspect of economic growth.
