Dr. Mrs Kukoyi attended First Baptist Primary School and Ilora Baptist Grammar School, Ilora where she obtained her Primary and Secondary Certificate (WAEC). To further her education she proceeded straight to The Polytechnic, Ibadan for her National Diploma (ND) in General Arts and Auchi Polytechnic for her Higher National Diploma (HND) in Textile and TTC respectively.<\/p>\n

After her youth service in Auchi Polytechnic in 1992, she was fully employed in 1993. Olajumoke Kukoyi is the pioneer Head of Department (2012-2016) of General Arts and Industrial Design in the School of Art and Industrial Design, Auchi Polytechnic.<\/p>\n

She obtained her M.Tech. in Textile and Clothing Technology (LAUTECH) and PhD in Textile (FUTA). She majored in Textile and Mixed Media and has participated in many conferences, workshops, solo and group exhibitions, with many awards to her credit.<\/p>\n

Dr. Mrs Kukoyi Olajumoke has published two major textbooks on textile titled \u201cAjomore – A Monograph of Motifs and Mixed Media in Textile and \u201cMaterials and Methods in Textile Practice,\u201d and she has also co-authored many textbooks on Textile and Entrepreneurship. Once known as an exporter of textile fabrics, ready-made Adire and Batik, she has executed a large number of commissions for both local and international clientele.<\/p>\n

She is the immediate past Head of Department of Graphics\/Textile and currently the sitting Dean, School of Art and Industrial Design.<\/p>\n
